As an Application Engineer, you will be playing a vital role in providing technical support and documentation for our products and customers. This position requires a self-motivated, hard-working, results oriented individual to make contributions to a small, but very focused team.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support of Elevate IC products for our worldwide customers- act as the technical interface between customers and the factor, assist customers with device and system level troubleshooting, and review customer circuit schematics
Perform bench testing and analysis to support customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues
Support failure, quality, and reliability analysis in conjunction with the operations team
Generation of technical documentation for Elevate products including datasheets, product guides, application notes and other material to support integration of these devices into customer systems.
Assist with product recommendations for new customer designs
Required Skills
BS in Electrical Engineering or similar
Proficient in the use of electronic bench equipment – hands on experience in the lab debugging, probing, and characterizing silicon using a mixture of custom-made and standard equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, source measurement units, etc
Experience in technical writing
Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written are essential to this position
Solid system and circuit level troubleshooting capability
Basic understanding of transistor level circuits
Experience with common programming languages like C, Python, or LabView
